Our Story

Cazena is the only Data Lake with a SaaS experience

Cazena's mission is to radically simplify analytics for enterprises. Data Lakes are critical to digital transformation, yet enterprises find them challenging, since they are complex and require expensive, scarce cloud and data DevOps skills. That's resulted in long deployments and delayed outcomes.

Cazena is the First Data Lake as a Service that drives outcomes 10X faster for all analytics: ML/AI, data science, data engineering, data warehousing and more.

Cazena has intuitive SaaS interfaces that simplify global access. Each Data Lake as a Service is private, production-ready and continuously optimized, with automated DevOps, which means enterprises don’t need new skills or resources to drive fast outcomes. Subscriptions include everything for secure data ingest, storage and analytics: best-of-breed technologies, patented software automation, a robust security model and a 24x7 operations team. Cazena makes it simple, secure and cost-effective to migrate and run cloud Data Lakes on Microsoft Azure and AWS.

Cazena was founded by industry leaders and original team behind the popular Netezza data warehousing appliance. The company is backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Formation 8 and North Bridge Venture Partners. Cazena is proud to have earned significant recognition, attracting an elite team of advisors, accolades from analyst firms and awards for our customers, including the 2018 Cloudera Data Impact Award for cloud success.
